There are no points for this "class" as this is not a horse show, but a fun class to get the audience participating.  Please get your horses in the arena so you can have a two minute commercial for your barn and horses.  Thanks!

There is a $100 minimum jackpot on this class now and winner takes all!  Join us and sign up your horse today!  The cash is awarded at the end when we announce the Top Three Winners.

Revised 2/18/08:

Quick Liberty Class Rules:

1. Bring your $5 cash with your horse to the ring at 2 p.m..  First come, first served into the ring.  If no one wants to go in first we will choose horses at random to go in and have some fun.

2. Your horse gets two minutes alone in the ring to show off on their own with only two handlers with short riding sized whips.  No artifical devices to makes the horse show off.  No noisemakers of any kind besides the two people will be allowed in the arena.  Please no plastic bags on the end of the whips either.  The whips can be no longer than six feet so no lunge whips allowed.

3.  The goal is to encourage the horse to show themselves off with as little interference from the handlers as possible.  If you have to keep moving your horse and they do not move on their own then you will be judged down for that.

4. The horse that does the best job of showing without any help wins the whole $100 cash jackpot.

5. There will be a sound system available and you need to give us a two minute speech for thew announcer to read off neatly printed out please.  Otherwise we will just give the basic info like horse's name, age and sex if you want us to announce for you.  Use this time as a commercial for your horses if you want.

6.  Get your horse all shiny as we will be taking pictures of them with several photographers.

7. There is no penalty for not being able to catch your horse.  There should be plenty of helpers to help you corral them up so please be sure to enter today.

8.  No music this year.  It slowed us down in 2006 so we will have annoucer speaking only.

Have fun and help us promote this new "class."  Thanks in advance for your help in making this a fun day to enjoy our horses.
