Here are sale horses below that already scheduled to attend this event in 2006!  Your horse could be posted here too.

Audience: We are expecting around 20 - 25+ head of Morgans and other horse breeds for sale this year and we are just waiting for their entries so we can post them here.

We do not post contact information on these horses below as we want the audience to attend our event in person and for all our exhibitors to have equal access to sell some of their horses as a thank for all their hard work in bringing their horses off their farms.   We do not want folks contacting our exhibitors around our event either until after our event.

If after the event, because you could not attend, and you are interested in knowing more about a particular horse below please email Margo, Manager, at dragoonfr @ hotmail.com (delete the spaces) for more information.

Exhibitors:  We have people cruising the site daily looking at our entries so please send in your horse entries right away to be advertising your horse before the event.  Now if the time to advertising your horse to potential buyers.

Your sale horse could be here too for people interested in knowing who is coming.  Purebreds, part-breds and other breeds are always welcome.  We do have a few other breeds coming as well and will post them here when they enter.  They are all welcome at our fun event.

Thanks,  The MHOH Management

Rain Bow Brite, black mare
Right photo courtesy www.edragoon.com/training

Bow Brite "Pookie" (Booker Tee By Windover Regency X Easter Bonnie) Black  14'2-3, DOB: 1996.  High percentage Flyhawk mare, Pookie is broke to ride and she is a very good mother.  She loves loves attention, and is easy to catch and saddle.  She is broke to ride for an experienced to intermediate rider,.  Pookie has great ground manners and has an abundance of speed and endurance. She will greet you at the gate and provide you with beautiful black babies, she has been an excellent mother. This is really one good looking Morgan mare she could easily be the cornerstone of a Flyhawk breeding program with the high percentage of Flyhawk in her papers.

Josey Girl

Richwood's Jewel (Richwood (JC) X Josey Girl (ApSHA))   Chestnut with snowflake blanket, 15HH. DOB: 2002, Mare.  Jewel is just started under saddle this year.  Bred as a Performance horse, her sire, Richwood (a Woodman (JC) son) is a USDF approved TB competed in Show Jumping with progeny on the race track.  Her dam is a winning Sport Horse Leopard Appaloosa.  Jewel is an easy going, sweet tempered Daisy Cutter who will excell at dressage, eventing and jumping.

Shadow

Shadow Moon (JMF Moonlight Express X SK Shania Mac) Black.  DOB: June 13 2004, Gelding.  Shadow is a sweet little guy. He has been started with some light saddle work and has been ridden, but because of his age we haven't done anything to big.  With his bloodlines he should make a very nice and calm riding horse for someone down the road.  Please stop by Shadow's stall to visit while at the event.

Glory

Golden Glory (No Greater Glory X Michalles' Dina Cando) 15+ hands  Liver Chestnut/Flaxen Mane & Tail. DOB: 05-08-01  Glory is a 5 yr old reg. Morgan Stallion.  He has many World & National Champions in his pedigree.  His first foal is due next month.  He is currently in dressage training & is progressing very well!  His great movement complements his awesome temperament.  Rarely will you find a Stallion with his unique color & natural talent.  At 15+ hands, this horse could easily go in any direction.

Ginger Rogers Masquerade (Futurity's Dynamite X Futurity Nobellita) 14.1H,  Bay Sabino DOB: 4/2001, Mare  Ginger has just completed 90 days of Natural Horsemanship Saddle Training and Trail Riding.  She is great to ride and wonderful to have around the barn.  She is very pretty and would excel in western pleasure or reining divisions.  Ginger has the potential to be a great youth horse and would be a good project for an older 4H member.  Ginger's sire will also be at the open house, so come take a look and see if Ginger is the right horse for you.

Signed and Numbered - Photo Sept. 2005

Signed and Numbered (Sweet Iron Morgan X PRM Melanie)  Bay 2005 colt.  This colt is a top quality stallion prospect!  He is super classy, sweet, correct and has true Morgan type.  His breeding includes: Montana Harvest, Francis Tito, Dapper Dan and more greats. He is easy to handle and loves people.

Ride with the Tide - Photo Sept. 2005

Ride with the Tide (Osh Kosh X Anakus Isabel) Bay colt. DOB: 2005.  He is a cutie! Correct with a beautiful head and he is sweet, easy to handle colt with great potential for most types of riding/driving.  A super nice colt all around, well muscled, straight, correct, and a gorgeous head.  Excellent working/sport lines-potential for most available

Captain AKA Montey

Captain Courageous (NR Beams Legacy X NR Crystal Cobra)
Black Bay, 14:3H, DOB: 2001, Gelding
"Montey" has been started under saddle, and ground driving.  He is ready to finish your way.  Versatile enough to go from English Pleasure, to Western, and possibly even Park!  Very friendly, pretty, and gentle guy with alert expression that will capture the judges eye in a large class.  Or would be happy to just hit the trails for you as well.

Friesian

Friesian yearling colts, geldings, and fillies for sale starting at $9900.  We will have at least one colt or gelding at the expo possibly more so look for us at this open house.  We are bringing two horses for sure but will decide closer to the event.  Update: Peiter, a yearling gelding that attended the event, has been sold after the Open House.  Thanks to all who inquired.

Clementine, palamino mare

Clementine (Robbie Sue's Bronze Figure X Wildcard Annie Oakley) 14.1 DOB: 2002.  Beautiful Palomino mare. Ground work started, leads, ties, loads, hauls, lounges, good with her feet, and easy to handle. Ready to start riding and driving training. She is very sweet, loves people, sound, healthy and correct.

Angus AKA Scottish Highland - Photo Sept. 2005

Scottish Highland (HDD Royal Senator by Windover Regency X Arboria Rapture by TVM Prince Steven)  Black, DOB, May 30, 2005.  Angus loads, bathes, clips, hauls and trims and has wins twice in the show ring already.  A halter winner as a weanling twice - once as Reserve Show Champion Morgan Stallion at the Spokane Interstate Fair in 2005 Angus stole the show and beat older horses!  Angus can go any division including Classic pleasure, combined or Classic driving and halter like his dam or Western and halter like his sire.  This colt is most definitely a show horse all the way and he shows off even at a young age or a very fun trail gelding, you decide.  His sire is homozygous black and we are waiting for those test results on Angus too.

Knight (Sable Knight Kruizer X Snowdancers Winter Whimsy) Black Stallion, DOB: 07-02-2004.  Knight is a big solid black two year old expect him to finish better then 15-2hh both parents are 15-2hh.  Knight is a real easy going colt, like his mom he was born gentle and has stayed that way.  This colt is a bit on the lazy side, so if your looking for a gelding with size who doesn't care about what is going on around him then this is the one.  I have never seen this colt spook at anything.

Ide Fan Duerswald - Frieisian

Ide Fan Duerswald (Feitse 293 and Dam’s sire is Hearke)  Black, age 4, and a gelding.  He was imported in January and has 6 months under saddle.  I will consider private treaty offers on this fun boy.  Watch for Ide in the Liberty Class!

Sophie (Sire and Dam are unknown) Grey, 14:1 1/2 H.  DOB: 2003
Mare, Unregistered.  Broke to ride.  Used in 4-H shows for 2 years.  Trails well, doesn't spook easily.   Trailers, clips, bathes well.  Ground work is complete.

Alaina - Morgan draft cross

Alaina (JMF Moonlight Express X Midnight (Draft mare)) Dark Bay/should mature to over 15hh.  DOB: June 12, 2004, Filly.  Athough Alaina is big her she has her daddy's smooth gait that has been passed down to her. She is fun to watch strut her stuff in the pasture. Alaina should make a good riding horse with the size to do what you need her too and the smooth ride to make you want to keep going.

Windy Tiara

SOLD at Open House!  Windy Tiara (Northwind Beamington X Cheeri's MS Elegance) Bwn/Blk, DOB: 1993.  Excellent Mare.  She is very intelligent, brought up in Montana.  Received her from Michigan as a foal, trained as a pleasure horse.  Is trail savvy. Only selling this lovely mare because I am unable to ride any more.

Nina Bell
NineBell.jpg

Nina Belle, Chestnut/15.2H, DOB: Jan '97, Mare. Nina Belle is a beautiful Morgan/Quarter horse with a white blaze and three socks. She is excellent for an intermediate rider, and would be a great 4H horse. She loves to run and is happiest when working daily.

Rio - Morgan/T-bred cross
Rio.jpg

Rio, White, DOB: 1990  Morgan - Thoroughbred cross. Rio is 15.3 and built very solidly.  This horse is your best friend.  He is very personable and will follow you around like a puppy.   He is the first to come when you call.  He is alert, interested, always happy to go.  He greets any newcomer horses and is the first one we put a new arrival with.  Rio will go anywhere you ask him and is one tough horse.  My husband took him on a pack string into the Clearwater in 2000 and he was a champ.  Rio rides in a Jim Warner hackamore and prefers it to a bit and neck reins fine with it. He clips, hot shoes, loads - all fine.  He is curious and has been known to undo gates and knock some things over.  Need a riding horse?  Then this may be your boy.

Shy - Morgan/T-bred cross
Shy.jpg

Shy (Shekinah), Palomino 16 hh, 1988, gelding.  Morgan - Thoroughbred cross.  I have owned him for 12 years.  He is big and beautiful and doesn't look his age at all.  This is a big powerful horse and he has never faltered in the mountains.  He has no problem with water, hot showing, loading.  You can clip him and spray him. He is not a real "people horse" however, and requires little affection.  He is a little difficult to catch in an open field and is slightly flighty on the ground - but not under saddle.  Shy is the most comfortable horse I have ever ridden.  He is extremely sensitive in his mouth and sides.  He neck reins and responds to leg cues.  He has many good years in him and I need to find the right home for him.   I have 100 acres and I cannot keep one horse penned up away from the hot spring grass, so have decided to sell him to someone who can dry lot him.  Need a riding horse?  Then this may be your boy.

Goodness Gracious AKA Gracie, Photo May 2005

Goodness Gracious AKA Gracie  (Futurity Cobra's Promise x NR Destiny's Desire) 2005 Bay filly.   Gracie should mature 15H.  Show ring potential, or just to take down the trails she should go all aspects of riding, or driving.  Easy to work with, and loves to please.  Will do almost anything for a goody, and a "good girl".  Bloodlines to UVM Promise, Beamington, Chasley Superman, Greenmeads Richmond, Orcland Leader, and many more of the wonderful oldies!

Pepe

Pepe' (Mission Sir Benje X Futurity's Fine Wine) Dk Ch/15. DOB: 2004 Stallion   We are working Pepe' in Harness and plan to show him in the 2007 show season until sold. Pepe' brothers are around 15.3 to 16 hands; he is a show off at all times and is willing to show you. Personality to spare.  Excellent conformation, elegant head and lots of legs.  Has been shown in trail, obstacles, lunge line and halter.  Placed third in an all age Morgan stallion class as a yearling.

CODY - black colt

Black Jack Cody (HDD Royal Senator X Rain Bow Brite) (Dam is pictured above)  Black colt.  DOB: 08-02-2005.  Will be registered by show time.  He is pictured here in his winter furries on April 6th, but you can see his kind eye and his nice head.  Please come meet Cody at the open house.  You won't be disappointed.

Hawk (JMF Sundays Hawk X Nordic Starlet)  Gelding, 13+ hands. DOB: 06-28-2004  His registration papers are being prepared now, and we should have them by show time.
